Organizer of Kazakh “language patrols” was prescribed a fine

In Kazakhstan, the police appointed a fine to the organizer of the Nationalist shares of TIL Maydani (“Wave of the Language”) and “Language Patrols” Qual Akhmetov. The blogger was released from the branch of law enforcement an hour after the arrest. About this Nationalist stated in one of his videos on YouTube, reports Telegram-channel edition readovka.

Akhmetov explained in one of the rollers that he was discharged in the amount of 145 thousand tenge (25 thousand Russian rubles). In addition, the agenda was presented, but its contents did not specify the blogger. At the same time, the leader of the “Language Patrol” immediately turned to its viewers with a request to help with payment of the fine and published details of their personal account.

Previously, information appeared that a criminal case was initiated against the blogger to incite an interethnic retail. August 19, Akhmetov in Almaty detained the Kazakh police.

The reason has become the video of Akhmetov. With its feed, the Conveyor rollers were launched on the network, in which Kazakh nationalists are conducted by “language patrols” in stores and government agencies. They check whether labels are translated in stores to Kazakh, whether sellers and civil servants communicate on it. During such raids, young people called Russian “Gastarbaters”. Russian-speaking fellow citizens activists accused fascism, despite the fact that the Russian language has the status of the official.

Previously, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia banned Qual Akhmetov entrance to the territory of the country. The agency noted that the leader of the “Language Patrol” was banned from coming to the country due to its public statements, “inciting interethnic distribution” and expressing “dismissive attitude to the Russian language.”
