Impact of “satellite V” for reproductive health

Researchers from the NMITs of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology named after V.I. Kulakova Ministry of Health of Russia did not find a negative effect for reproductive health from vaccine vaccination “Satellite V” for men or women. Two articles of researchers are published in the journal “Obstetrics and Gynecology”.

“Vaccination does not have a negative and damaging effect on the reproductive system,” the press release of the center quotes “Interfax”. The survey was carried out immediately before and 90 days after the introduction of the first component of the vaccine.

45 men aged 18 to 55 took part in the first study. They appreciated spermogram indicators, hormone levels, including testosterone, as well as the level of antibodies. Changes in the indicators did not find scientists. Another study was attended by 51 women aged 18 to 45 years. The number of follicles, levels of hormones and antibodies were estimated.

“no negative influence of the vaccine on the function of the ovaries in women, including women of late reproductive age (over 37 years old), and on spermatogenesis of men,” are emphasized in the center.
