US should identify such advanced technologies that would be scared by the enemies of the United States, reports Defense News Statement by the Minister of Air Force (Air Force) Frank Kendalla.
According to him, the Pentagon “has several things that are not yet disclosed to the general public, and which I can not speak.” As an example, the minister led “partially opened” promising strategic minority bomber B-21 RAIDER.
“and there are some more similar, which will soon appear … But I think that we must constantly think about other things that will be frightened by our future enemies,” said Kendall.
Secretary of the Air Force added that “he was obsessed with China for quite a long time, and his military modernization, as well as what it means for the USA and security.”
Kendall noted that he was a supporter of a complete, not partial write-off of the park of aircraft and drone, which would allow to free up funds for the creation of new techniques. “Just based on a clean economy, it is often better to get rid of the whole fleet,” said the minister.
In May, the DRIVE edition reported that Frank Kendall, then – Candidate of US President Joe Bayden to the post of Minister of Air Force, supported the acquisition of 145 units of B-21 RAIDER. In the same month, as Breaking Defense wrote, the official said that the key to a decrease in the cost of exploitation of fifth-generation f-35 Lightning II fighters is an increase in their quantity.
