Russia’s willingness to war turned out to be higher than NATO readiness

Moscow pays more time to solving security issues than NATO countries. This makes the readiness of the Russian side to war much higher than the willingness of any of the North Atlantic Alliance countries, Charlie Gao columnist writes in the article for The National Interest.

According to him, Russia is ready to protect itself from both biological and chemical or nuclear weapons. Gao believes that this tradition, the Russian authorities inherited from the USSR – it is connected with the improvement of skills to confront such types of weapons. In addition, military exercises are often held in the country.

It turned out that NATO’s servicemen spend maneuvers much less often. In the Alliance, there are also “catastrophically small” training centers for working with chemical weapons, Columnist said.

On August 17, the American General, the head of the Northern Command of the USA, Glen Vanhark stated that Russia is a major threat to the United States. He explained that Russia had achieved significant success in the field of rocket arms and the construction of silent submarines. He also drew attention to “very advanced funds” in cybernetic and space spheres.
