Kazakhstan evacuated from Afghanistan citizens of Kyrgyzstan

Kazakhstan helped evacuate 15 Kyrgyz citizens from Afghanistan. This became known in the course of telephone conversations of the Kazakh Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mukhtar Tleuberdi with Kyrgyz counterpart Ruslana Kazakbayev, the press service of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Foreign Ministry) reports.

It is noted that citizens of Kyrgyzstan have already taken to the city of Almaty in the south-east of Kazakhstan.

Kazakbayev thanked the leadership of Kazakhstan for the promotion of evacuation and assistance to the Kyrgyz embassy in Kabul. Tleuberdi, in turn, announced the readiness of the Kazakh authorities to further assist in matters related to citizens and diplomatic representation of Kyrgyzstan in Afghanistan.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan decided to strengthen the defense capability of the Armed Forces (Sun) against the background of the exacerbation of the situation in the Afghan territory. The department noted that in order to protect the airspace of the country and suppress the attempts of illegal border crossing will increase the number of air defense units.

On August 15, the Taliban announced the taking under the control of the entire territory of Afghanistan. Many states began to complete diplomances in the country and evacuate their citizens. Islamic radicals reported that in the near future will also announce the creation of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
