US promised to answer attack in event of Taliban aggression at airport

US was warned by Taliban (the movement is prohibited in Russia) that any military aggression on their part will be encountered by a response attack. This was stated by the representative of Pentagon John Kirby, reports Daily Mail.

Kirby noted that the situation at the airport of Kabul is still intense. “Any attack on our people or our operations at the airport will be encountered a quick and decisive unequivocal response,” he stressed.

The representative of the Pentagon insists that chaos in the Kabul airport that happened earlier is not a failure. He noted as soon as all the processes are established, from 5 to 9 thousand people will be able to leave Afghanistan every day.

Alternatively, thousands of people gathered at Kabul International Airport, hoping for evacuation from Afghanistan. Many of the participants are former drivers, translators and other auxiliary staff at the embassies of Western countries. They opened fire both soldiers of the United States and the militants of the Taliban movement.
