George Bush turned to American military fought in Afghanistan

Former US President George Bush made a statement addressed to American military, diplomats and employees of the country’s intelligence officers. His words betrays the Edition Independent.

Bush thanked all servicemen who, after the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, participated in the invasion of Afghanistan. “You defended America from further terrorist attacks, provided security for two decades for millions and forced America to be proud,” he stressed. The politician highly appreciated the victim brought by all fought in the country.

Former president noted the importance of assistance to Afghan refugees and urged “to unite in the salvation of lives and prayer for the people of Afghanistan.” He noticed that the US government has all the authority to facilitate refugees to search for asylum during an emergency humanitarian crisis.

Earlier, US President Joseph Biden rated his decision to bring US troops from Afghanistan. The politician noted that it was distinguished by what was happening in the republic, but does not regret the withdrawal of the troops, since the further stay of the US strength in the country would threaten big losses.
