Moscow will respond to the expulsion of a Russian diplomat from Northern Macedonia, following the principle of reciprocity. This was stated by the deputy head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia Alexander Grushko, reports TASS.
“Naturally, as it is accepted in diplomatic relations, on our part there will be appropriate steps,” said the deployment of the Foreign Ministry.
Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Northern Macedonia Buyar Osmani said that the Republic will send a Russian diplomat. According to him, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country will soon receive “confirmed and documented information” on the behavior of the diplomat, which is contrary to the principles of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.
May 18 reported on the expulsion from the country of another employee of the Russian diplomission. He was given a week to leave the republic. As a response, Russia announced an employee of the Northern Macedonia Embassy in Moscow, non-Grata person.
