The Prosecutor General’s Office of Uzbekistan refuted its reports of forced landing in the thermosis of aircraft and helicopters with Afghan military who escaped from the country after the establishment of the power of the Taliban’s radical movement (prohibited in Russia). This is reported by “Sputnik Uzbekistan” with reference to the Telegram channel of the law enforcement agency.
It is about the statement of the prosecutor’s office regarding events on August 14 and 15. Then the department reported on forced landing of 22 military aircraft and 24 helicopters from Afghanistan because of the illegal intersections of the air space of the republic. Later the message was deleted.
As explained in the department, because of the rapidly developing events in Afghanistan, even official sources do not immediately receive reliable information and may allow inaccuracies in the materials due to the inability to verify those or other facts.
Common Prosecutor’s Office Information about dozens of aircraft from Afghanistan was also published without final explanations from the source, as well as without reference to the official proven data of the competent authorities.
Earlier, the agency reported that over the 14th and 15th of August, the airspace of the republic was trying to break 22 aircraft and 24 helicopters from the territory of the neighboring Afghanistan, on board which was without a small 600 people. On the evening of August 16, Uzbek security forces were detained on the border with Afghanistan more than 150 military and civilians who tried to illegally penetrate the country, fleeing from the Taliban.
