The members of the terrorist movement “Taliban” (forbidden in Russia) do not harm the inhabitants of Kabul, but people are still scared and try not to go out to the streets without extreme necessity. This was told about the locals in conversation with RBC.
Student Rudn Ahmad Sanor Nakibi noted that while life at the Taliban does not differ from what was before. “While everything is calm … The Taliban does not plan us to kill us, but, of course, now people are deprived of their freedom,” he explained.
A resident of Kabul Mudser said that after the capture of the capital, Nobody went to work – even the police. “Taliban work like a police, protect the city from marauders. Of course, people are frightened by what is happening, especially women,” he told.

The guide named Abdalla (the name is changed due to security reasons) noted that at the moment it is impossible to buy a SIM card for the phone in Kabul: all stores are closed, because the sellers are afraid that their goods will take off force. Abdalla himself is also afraid that the militants will kill him, so he hides his profiles on social networks.
