First Ryazan birch gradder was found

Researchers discovered in the territory of the Ryazan Kremlin a bark diploma of the XV century – the first known for Pereslavl Ryazan, the press service of the Institute of Archeology of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Dims in eight centimeters long and a width of about three centimeters was found on the territory of one of the estates in the western part of the introduced excavation in the south-east of the Kremlin Pereslavl Ryazan (modern Ryazan). From the whole text, only two lower lines are preserved. Archaeologists suggest that in the last line read the word “Bass Ty …”, and in the previous line – “Bezh”.
