Special Representative of the Russian President in Afghanistan, Director of the Second Department of Asia Foreign Minister Zamir Kabulov compared the incompetence of representatives of the Radical Movement of the Taliban (prohibited in Russia) and the former Afghan government. He spoke about it live on the TV channel “Russia 24”.
Kabulov considered Taliban more conspiracked. According to the diplomat, the former Kabul government was a puppet, and therefore dismissile. “If you compare the incomportability of partners, then the Taliban has long thought to be much more incomplete,” Kabulov emphasized.
Previously, the Special Representative of the President of Russia in Afghanistan stated that Moscow would not hurry with the recognition of the Taliban radical movement regime. He promised that while the Russian side would observe how new Afghan authorities would behave in the face of the Taliban.
On August 15, it became known that the Taliban fully controls the territory of Afghanistan together with the capital of the state Kabul. President Ashraf Gani left the country to, according to him, avoid bloodshed.
