Militants of the Radical Movement “Taliban” (prohibited in the Russian Federation) stated that in the near future will be announced from the Presidential Palace about the creation of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. This is reported by Associated Press with reference to the representative of the movement.
This is the so called the state that existed from 1996 to 2001 and controlled most of Afghanistan.
Earlier it was reported that the Taliban was included in the presidential palace in Kabul after the President of Afghanistan Ashraf Ghani left the country and flew to Tajikistan, from where he will go to the third country – the final item is not specified.
On the afternoon of August 15, the representatives of the Taliban announced the seizure of the entire territory of Afghanistan. The militants arrived at the Presidential Palace in Kabul to negotiate with state leaders in order to transfer power. Afghan President Ashraf Ghani agreed to resign.
