According to the latest data, 724 people died as a result of the earthquake. “500 in the South Department, 100 in the Department of Grand Ans, 122 in the NIPP Department and two people died in the north-west of the country,” the deployment statement said.

Previously, the US Geological Service (USGS) warned that the number of victims due to the earthquake on Haiti can reach several thousand people, and the victims are tens of thousands.

On August 14, the US Geological Service recorded the earthquake of 7.2 points from the shores of Haiti. The earthquake occurred at 15 hours 29 minutes Moscow time. It is noted that the epicenter of the underground jokes was located in eight kilometers north of the Petit-de NIP settlement, and the hearth climbed at a depth of 10 kilometers.
