In United States approved third dose of vaccine for people with weakened immunity

In the United States was allowed to apply the third dose of vaccines from coronavirus production Pfizer and Moderna for vaccination of people with weakened immunity. This is reported on the website of the Office for Sanitary Supervision of Food and Drug Administration and Medicines (FDA).

According to the statement of the department, this decision was approved against the background of the new wave of coronavirus in a country associated with the distribution of Delta -Stamma. Only persons with weakened immunity, subject to certain conditions, for example, those who recently transferred organ transplantation surgery were able to receive a third dose.

It is noted that all other categories of citizens do not need to make the third vaccination, as fully vaccinated people must have enough protection against the virus.

Earlier it was reported that the American medical regulator FDA is preparing to issue an emergency permission to vaccinate children up to 12 years from COVID-19 to the beginning or middle of this winter. After issuing an emergency permission to manufacturers of drugs, FDA plans to fully approve the vaccination from coronavirus for all ages. Now there is an emergency vaccination of children from 12 to 18 years old. None of the vaccines – neither Pfizer-Biontech nor Moderna – has not yet received full approval for use on children.
