In space found gigantic “star gates”

NASA CHANDRA X-ray Observatory and SWIFT orbital Observatory received images of giant concentric rings resembling “Star Gate”, around a black hole V404 CYGNI, located at a distance of 7800 light years from the ground. It is reported by CNN.

The black hole is part of the double system, and its companion is a star, the mass of which is about half the mass of the sun. SWIFT Space Observatory, launched in 2004, discovered an X-ray splash from the double system in June 2015. This splash actually created rings that are visible on x-ray images. This structure is an echo x-ray, reflected from cosmic dust clouds, scattered in space between the V404 Cygni system and the Earth.

The new image released by NASA combines an X-ray image observed Chandra, with data on nearby stars collected in the optical light of the Pan-Starrs telescope in Hawaii. The diameter of the rings allows the astronomers to determine the distances to dust clouds that have formed light rings. The more ring, the closer cloud to the ground. In brightness rings, scientists have identified an approximate composition of dust clouds, which consist mainly of graphite and silicate grains.
