The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) of Russia announced the beginning of the audit of the largest trading networks in connection with the appeals of citizens about the increase in prices. This is stated in the message on the site of the department.

Raid on the subject of the monopoly conspira are in the networks of X5 Group (“Pyaterochka shops”, “Crossroads”, “Carousel”), “Ribbon” and “Magnit”.

FAS intends to assess the pricing from the main Russian retailers and understand whether there is a unreasonable increase in prices for goods. If this assumption is confirmed, the violators expect a revolving fine in the amount of up to 15 percent of the annual revenue.
