Connection between pregnancy and Covid-19 vaccination was studied

Researchers from the UK did not find the effects of vaccination from COVID-19 at the outcome of pregnancy. The article of scientists was accepted for publication in American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Scientists from Saint George college studied data on 1328 women who gave birth from March 1 to July 4, 2021 in London. However, less than a third of them agreed to hurt and only 141 of all participants in the study received at least one dose of the vaccine before the birth of a child. The connection was noted the connection of lower socio-economic status and the smaller age for the decision not to be vaccinated. More often they did those who have been discovered diabetes.

The proportion of adverse outcomes of pregnancy – miscarriage (0 and 0.3 percent), the fetal anomalies (2.2 and 2.7 percent) and cesaric sections (30.8 and 30.6 percent) – it was approximately the same as for the vaccinated and unseated, respectively.

Earlier, the Federal Centers for the Control and Prevention of US Diseases also did not find any increase in the risk of miscarriage in women who received mRNA-vaccines from Pfizer and Moderna.
