Researchers from the United States found out that the young people who had lost coronavirus are experiencing changes in their sympathetic nervous system, in particular, they have a sensitivity to cold, reports the SCIENCEALER port with reference to the work of scientists.
Scientists for six months have been observed in 30 people aged 20 to 24 years. At the same time, 16 of them were infected with coronavirus. Even in the state of rest, the nerves of those who had sought COVID-19 were in more voltage than those who were not infected. The measurement of the electrical activity of the muscles showed that their sympathetic nervous system is part of the autonomous nervous system, which is responsible for the “Bay or-Run” reaction – was excessively active. For example, the increased activity of sympathetic nerves was observed when the bed with a person was translated from a horizontal position to the vertical – a heart was rapidly studied and raised pulse.
In some cases, the activity of the sympathetic nervous system was reduced. So, when the hands of the participants were immersed for two minutes into icy water, then the coronavirus had felt much less pain than the control group. The reaction of their neuromuscular apparatus was also more calm.
