The Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Maxim Reshetnikov during the work visit to the Komi Republic and met with entrepreneurs. At the meeting, the head of the department called entrepreneurs the “engine of providing internal demand and exit to the export market” and spoke about what additional support measures are now available to entrepreneurs. This is stated in the message of SME Corporation.
The Minister said that a decision was made to the government of the provision of grant assistance of SMEs and Sonoto in the event of an introduction to the region (municipality) of restrictions. “On this measure, on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation, 8 billion rubles have already been allocated. Next, we have launched compensation for fees for payments through the CBP,” Maxim Reshetnikov explained. He added that this program is implemented by the Ministry of Economic Development with the Bank of Russia and that this measure was born from a business request for high commissions during translations.
In addition, the minister reminded entrepreneurs that now the mechanism of umbrella guarantees is being prepared for business together with SMEs Corporation. “We want to divide some risks with banks when lending to SMEs,” explained the reshetnikov.
“Since we have been very actively moving the program 1764 in 2020-2021 as an anti-crisis, she worked on the” transition “from the photo 2.0. All restrictions were removed, the program became very powerful. As a result, the amount of debt on the program in the amount of 1 trillion 200 million rubles. Each fifth loan for SMEs was supported by the federal budget, and on them (loans) the government reduced rates. But there is a limit, “the minister said, answering the question of the entrepreneur about preferential loans. According to him, the average loan term for the portfolio of the program 1764 is about 3 years, therefore, until 2024, these loans must be subsidized. Nevertheless, on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation, this year an additional 8 billion rubles was allocated to the program. And for a number of banks, the program limits are not yet exhausted, and they continue to issue.
Reshetnikov also noted that the Ministry of Economic Development plans to “proper” the program in such a way as to stimulate banks to translate credit agreements with companies that have grown out of SMEs and “critically” do not need preferential loans for standard conditions. Newly released loans will be sent to new companies, and the program as a whole will “rebuilt towards investments.”
