Thai special forces with water cannon, tear gas and rubber bullets dispersed in the center of Bangkok several hundred demonstrators protesting against inefficient measures to combat coronavirus. It is reported by South CHINE MORNING POST.
According to the newspaper, collisions with the police began after the residents of the capital decided to express discontent due to the lack of financing the medical sphere and the inaction of the authorities in the fight against infection. Demonstrators went outside by violating a ban on public events.
Protesters stained with pork blood buildings associated with the Ministry of Health of Companies. They also launched fireworks in law enforcement officers and threw them with bricks fragments.
“Authoritarian government (Prime Minister) Prarat Chan-Oil continues to search and distribute benefits for the ruling class, allowing people to root and die on their own will,” said one of the activists.
During the operation on acceleration of the demonstration, the police confiscated about a hundred motorcycles protesters and detained six people. Currently, the exact number of victims due to collisions is not yet disclosed.
Earlier in Beirut, demonstrators on the day of mourning for the dead after the explosion in a warehouse with chemicals threw stones of security forces. In response, the special services also applied water homes and tear gas. In the course of the clashes, at least six people were injured.
