In the evening of August 10, about 200 protesters tried to block the entrances and exits from the Lithuanian Sejm building, which took place a meeting of deputies. Police tried to push the protesters, but after that, stones, bottles, pyrotechnics and explosives flew in the security forces. In response, law enforcement officers applied tear gas.

Head of the Chief Commissioner of the Police of the Vilnius County Saulyus Gagas said that the rebellion was suppressed for two o’clock in the morning. According to him, during the rally, 10 security officials were injured, 26 protesters were detained. It is noted that the Lithuanian authorities conduct an investigation into the organization of mass riots.

On August 10, more than a thousand people came to the Lithuanian Seimas to express a protest against the introduction of restrictions for unvaccified citizens. Among the requirements of the protesters are the cancellation of the forced vaccination of children and adults and compulsory testing to coronavirus, as well as the refusal of the passport of opportunities, without which they will not be allowed into public places. According to the protesters, such governments violate the rights and freedoms of citizens.
