Following the first half of the year, fees to the budget from an increased tax on personal income (NDFL) amounted to 29 billion rubles. About this at a meeting with the Russian Prime Minister, Mikhail Mishoustin, said the head of the Federal Tax Service (FNS) Daniel Egorov, reports TASS.
He reminded that the funds collected in this way are supposed to be directed to help children with orphan diseases. For the year it is expected to arrive about 70 billion rubles.
The NDFL rate for citizens with income above 5 million rubles per year is raised from 13 percent to 15 from January of this year. At the same time, an additional fee is sent not to the regional budget, as from the usual rate, but to the federal.
Change the tax rate for Russians with super democracy in the summer of 2020 proposed President Vladimir Putin. He explained the initiative to care about the sick children whose families are currently forced to collect a means of treatment independently.
Flat tax scale acted in Russia since 2001. Deputies of the opposition parliamentary parties have repeatedly made bills of its cancellation, but they have always deviated. In the Ministry of Finance a year ago, they assured that the exception for extensions would be one-time, the further change of the system is not planned.
