in the State Printing Committee (CGP) of Belarus told that human rights defenders ignore the situation with refugees on the border with Lithuania. This is reported in the official Telegram Channel Code of Civil Channel.

According to the statement of the department, at the moment no human rights or a humanitarian organization, which has a representative office in Belarus, has not sent its representatives to the border of the two countries to clarify all the circumstances. It is noted that international organizations do not protrude with the initiative to provide legal assistance to those who seek to get refuge in Europe.

Minsk also stated that Belarusian border guards fix the cases of inhuman treatment with migrants by the Lithuanian authorities. In the Progransmitte, they said that for Lithuania it became a normal practice to deliver groups from refugees to the border with Belarus and leave them without food, water and warm things.

Earlier, Lithuanian Pogoganovhran announced the shots on the territory of Belarus in the area of the border. On Saturday afternoon, August 7, Lithuanian border guards heard shots from the adjacent side of the border on the territory of Belarus. After sunset, they also noticed lighting and signal missiles in the sky.

Since the beginning of this year, over four thousand illegal migrants are detained at the Lithuanian-Belarusian border, which is 50 times more than in the entire past year. At the end of May 2021, the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, noted that the Republic served as a barrier on the way of transferring illegal migrants to the neighboring country, however, according to the political pressure of the West, Minsk can think about whether to continue to do this.
