People who have gotten COVID-19 can make only one injection vaccine against coronavirus to work out strong immunity against infection. This is reported in an article published in Jama Network Open magazine.
29 people were involved in the study, who had a coronavirus infection with the help of PCR analysis, and 30 people who did not hurt COVID-19. The average age of volunteers amounted to 42 years, and three quarters of participants were women.
Researchers discovered a higher number of antibodies against SARS-COV-2 in previously infected people after the first dose of the PFizer vaccine than those who are not infected with coronavirus, after both doses. At the same time, the second dose for the passing did not give any additional advantages and did not increase the amount of antibodies in the blood.
The preceding infection itself is not a reliable protection from COVID-19. The concentration of antibodies in people who have previously encountered coronavirus, in blood samples accounted for about 621 units per milliliter (AU / ml). After the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine, this level rose to 30,000 AU / ml, which ensures the necessary protection against infection. Thus, scientists are called the optimal vaccine for those who had passed exactly.
