Hungary: books with LGBT theme will sell in closed packaging

In Hungary, a decree came into force, according to which books with LGBT theme can be used exclusively in a closed packaging. It is reported by RT in its Telegram Channel.

It is clarified that new rules concern only children’s books and media, and also prohibit a public demonstration of goods that depict or promote gender shift.

According to the document, persons under the age of 18 will not be shown the materials, “encouraging a change in gender or homosexuality”. In addition, representatives of the LGBT community will not be able to take part in the shooting of a television show for minors or shooting school training materials.

Earlier, the Foreign Minister of Luxembourg Jean Asselborne said that the leaders of the EU countries (EU) should hold a referendum on the further membership of Hungary in the union. It is specified that politician called for the discussion of the future country in the EU due to the new law of Prime Minister Viktor Orban on the prohibition of LGBT propaganda.
