A family of 12 people died from bomb explosion in Afghanistan

Twelve people from the same family died from the explosion of a self-made explosive device in the province of Paktia in the east of Afghanistan. This was announced by the relative of the victims of the local information agency Ariana News.

It is reported that the car in which the family was driving, blew up on a self-made bomb in Saiyid Caram district. Afghans tried to leave away from the fighting area. Among the 12 dead – six children, three women and three men. Two more juveniles were injured, the publication does not report them.

Local authorities were accused of mining the road and the death of civilian “Taliban” radical movement (a terrorist organization prohibited in Russia). Neither the Taliban nor other grouping in the country has not yet taken responsibility for the explosion.

Taliban has previously taken responsibility for the murder of the representative of Afghanistan’s president. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country confirmed that the head of the State Media Information Center (GMIC) of Dava Khan Mynapal was killed on Friday, on August 6, near the Russian Embassy.
