Russian authorities approved the concept of the development of hydrogen energy, it will be carried out in three stages, it is said on the website of the government.
The first stage of the Plan is designed for three and a half years. It involves the creation of clusters and the implementation of pilot projects for the production and export of hydrogen, as well as the use of hydrogen power carriers in the domestic market, revealed the details of the plan of the Prime Minister Mikhail Mishoustin.
It is planned to create three territorial production clusters. Northwestern will be specialized in the supply of hydrogen to Europe, East – export to Asian countries, the Arctic cluster will provide low-carbon power supply to the Russian Polar region.
The following steps (up to 2035 and 2050) are aimed at the opening of large export-oriented industries, as well as the massifect of hydrogen technologies in different fields – from petrochemistry to housing and public utilities. Mishoustin noted that such measures will reduce the risks of the loss of energy markets, will support economic growth and the creation of high-tech jobs.
Previously, the Special Representative of the President of Russia for Relations with International Organizations To achieve the goals of sustainable development, Anatoly Chubais warned that the revolution in the energy sector would be a reason for the ambulance of world elites.
In early August, it became known that the government is going to create working groups “to adapt the Russian economy to the global energy transmission”, that is, to a decrease in oil and gas demand.
