Rogozin called on to return death penalty for corruption in OPK

The head of “Roskosmos” Dmitry Rogozin on the air “Soloviev Live” made the restoration of the death penalty for corruption in the defense and industrial complex (OPK).

“Here we are talking not only about crimes related to theft of public funds, but steal from defense, in the safety of the country. In fact, this is an indulgence of the aggressor,” he said.

Earlier, the head of the Human Rights Council (SCH) Valery Fadeev spoke out against the abolition of the moratorium on the death penalty. In his opinion, it is impossible to cancel the moratorium in Russia, since errors are not excluded when sentencing. He also noted that he understood those who wish the maximum punishment for the crime over their friends and relatives.

The moratorium on the use of the death penalty in Russia was introduced on April 16, 1997.
