Human rights defenders demanded information about anal smears on COVID-19

Human rights defenders in the United States through the court demanded from the State Department to provide information on American diplomats, which, at the entrance to China, allegedly passed anal testing on COVID-19. It is reported by RIA Novosti.

According to the statement of the Organization “Judicial Supervision”, the appeal was filed after the ministry did not respond to a request for the provision of relevant information. It is noted that human rights defenders requested not personal data of diplomatic personnel subjected to procedure, but only available messages and complaints about it.

In February, some representatives of the US diplomsses in China complained that they were forced to take anal strokes for the presence of COVID-19. The State Department told that they would deal with the study of the issue and would decide. However, China has denied the capture of anal smears to Coronavirus from American diplomats. The humiliating procedure was also criticized by the Japanese government, which stated that the smears cause spiritual flour to its citizens attending China.
