The creator of the foundations of modern Russian nuclear weapons, scientist and academician Yuri Drutnev died aged 93 years. This was announced by the representative of the state corporation “Rosatom”, RIA Novosti reports.
“This is a big loss not only for the nuclear industry of Russia, but also for the whole of our country, to ensure the defense capability of which Yuri Alekseevich dedicated his such long and bright life,” the agency’s interlocutor said.
Earlier it was reported that a biologist scientist, a filmologist and the creator of the breed for finding the explosives “Shalyak” Klim Suulimov died in the 91st year of his life. The cause of the death of scientist was the consequences of coronavirus.
