Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed regularly monitor the incomes of poor Russians and, if such a need arises, to ensure additional measures of social support. The list of orders on the basis of the meeting of the Council under the Strategic Development and National Projects is published on the Kremlin website.

At the end of July, Rosstat reported the growth of real revenues of Russians. According to the report, the incomes of citizens of Russia rose by 6.8 percent in annual terms. In the first quarter, they decreased by 3.7 percent. Initially, the fall was estimated at 3.6 percent, but subsequently the department revised the data.
Earlier, the first deputy prime minister Andrei Belousov said that the real disposable revenues of Russians are growing at three percent. We are talking about the amounts that people remain at the disposal of people after obligatory payments, while the assessment takes into account inflation.
