Russians in the first half of the year have made 275 million translations in the amount of 1.6 trillion rubles through the system of rapid payments (SBP). About half of them – transfer between their accounts in different banks (ME2ME). It is reported by the Russian Gazette with reference to the Central Bank.
In the Bank of Russia, they said that more than 30 million people have already taken advantage of the translation by phone number through the BCP at least once (almost five times more compared to the first half of 2020). Transfer to myself to another bank may be needed to pay for a large purchase, opening of the contribution or payment on the loan.
Earlier it was reported that Sberbank and the subsidiary “Yumoney” joined the BCP. The service became available to individuals and legal entities.
Minimum limit, which cans can be installed for remittances of citizens in accounts through bumps, cannot be below 150 thousand rubles a day.
SBP was launched in early 2019. The system allows you to quickly make bank transactions between the card accounts, transferring funds by the recipient’s phone number.
