Taliban threatened to continue attacks on Afghan officials

The militants of the radical terrorist movement “Taliban” (prohibited in Russia) threatened to continue attacks on high-ranking officials of Afghanistan. This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the press secretary of Taliban Zabilella Mujahed.

The representative of the movement stated that new attacks will follow the attack on the house of the head of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic. “This suicide attack was only the beginning of response operations against key figures and administration leaders,” he stressed.

August 3 reported that unknowns blew up a car near the house of the head of the Afghan Ministry of Defense of General Bismillas Khan Mohammadi in Kabul and attacked his home with a weapon. The attack lasted almost four hours. According to the RIA Novosti agency, eight people died as a result of the attack, about 20 were injured. At the same time, the minister himself and his family were not injured. Representatives of the Taliban took responsibility for the attack.

August 2, the United States accused the Taliban in massacre over dozens of civilians in the Afghan provinces Spin Boldak and Kandahar. They called the actions of militants with military crimes and called upon to bring to the responsibility of all representatives of the movement involved in these incidents.
