British scientists declared the fall in the effectiveness of vaccine against coronavirus infection. About their study writes Bloomberg.
According to experts that exist at the current moment of vaccine against the usual variants of coronavirus show low efficiency against the “Delta” -Stamma. They expressed the opinion that the third wave of infection was caused not only by unmatched people, but also among some residents of the country already past vaccination.
According to scientists, the effectiveness of vaccines in the country decreased from 64 percent to 49, and the level of vaccine’s ability to protect people from different types of COVID-19 fell from 83 to 59 percent. For this reason, the authors of the study are emphasized, countries need to begin developing new vaccines against coronavirus mutations, since antibodies produced after entering patients already existing vaccines become less effective.
Earlier, a group of specialists from Tokyo University found out that the strain of Coronavirus Delta has the highest pathogenicity among other COVID-19 options. It also turned out that the contamination of COVID-19 destroys cells, which then merge into a single mass called syntive. During the experiment with rodents, the specialists revealed that the infection of delta-strain leads to an increased volume of syntisis, 2.7 times higher than by mass similar formations when infected by other coronavirus options.
