The Constitutional Council of France adopted the law on new measures to combat the pandemic previously approved by the Parliament of the Republic. This is reported by the Edition Le Figaro.
According to the publication, the Council agreed to oblige the French to impose sanitary passes in cafes, restaurants and shopping centers. “Expansion of sanitary misstitution is approved, with the exception of those situations where this can be an obstacle to access to medical care,” the legislators said. The adopted antique measures will take effect from August 9.
At the same time, the Constitutional Council rejected the provisions for the forced isolation of the infected COVID-19. According to the decision, the French companies also banned labor contracts due to the refusal of employees from vaccination.
The tightening of the antique regime provoked a wave of mass protests throughout France, in which hundreds of thousands of people took part. The protesters accused the President of the Republic of Emmanuel Macgron in the “abuse of power” and the “state coup” due to new restrictive measures. In response, the politician reminded the citizens that freedom implies certain obligations, and caught participants in protests in egoism.
