Premier Finland returned money to budget for her breakfasts

Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin returned to the country’s budget some of the money for his family breakfasts after the scandal broke around around these spending. This was reported to the newspaper ILTA-Sanomat

It is reported that she gave 10 thousand euros back, and only until the end of the summer should transfer 14 thousand to the state. According to her, she spent this money for family meals over the past year and a half, because it thought it was a normal practice for Finnish Prime Ministers.

When it turned out that the state does not pay the premieres of breakfast, she promised to compensate all expenses, and the office, which was engaged in the issue, promised to develop updated instructions for receiving public benefits.

Marin is held by the post of Prime Minister since December 2019. She became the third woman in this post, as well as the youngest prime minister not only in Finland, but also around the world.
