Dozens of police suffered during protests in Berlin

Dozens of police are injured in the course of unauthorized protests against coronavirus restrictions in the capital of Germany. This is reported by BILD with reference to law enforcement officials.

As a result of collisions with protesters, more than 60 police officers were injured by varying severity. In the suppression of unrest in Berlin, more than two thousand police officers participated.

The city authorities banned mass shares in the German capital. Nevertheless, several thousand protesters against tightening antique regime went to the streets. According to the publication, they behaved aggressively with respect to police and passersby. During the riots, more than a thousand people detained and opened hundreds of investigations. One of the residents who were detained for the resistance of the police, subsequently died from a heart attack.

Prime Minister Mateush Murezetsky called the incident by the manifestation of banditry.
