From August 1, the United States will result in its diploma, in accordance with the new requirements of the Russian government. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
In particular, Washington cannot hire to work in American embassies and consulates of Russians and citizens of third countries. Commenting on the current situation, US Ambassador to Russia John Salvan noted that due to these measures, the numerical composition of dipmissions in the country will decrease to 120 people. This will lead to the fact that they will not be able to provide consular services in full.
Earlier, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken declared the reduction of diplomacy in Russia. He clarified that the American authorities are forced to dismiss 182 employees. At the same time, Blinken noted that, despite the limitations, Washington is aimed at predictable and stable relationships with Moscow.
