Former president of Kyrgyzstan was declared in Bishkek

Kyrgyzstan has already presented financial claims of Canadian Centerra Gold Inc. By $ 4.2 billion for violation of environmental standards and non-payment of taxes in the development of kumtor. Bishkek also claims that due to the company’s actions there was a threat of the deposit of glaciers and death of people.

Askar Akayev served as President of Kyrgyzstan from 1990 to 2005. He left the country after the “tulip revolution.” In February 2020, it was reported that his son died in Moscow.
