ONEWB spacecraft for mission number 35 arrived at the airport “extreme” cosmodrome by Baikonur by the An-124-100 aircraft. Specialists of the South Space Center (branch of the center of exploitation of land-based space infrastructure facilities are included in the state corporation “Roscosmos”) conducted unloading and delivery of spacecraft to the technical complex of the cosmodrome, where their further preparation for the launch scheduled for August will be carried out.
These works will be carried out in the framework of the execution of contracts of the Glavkosmos (a subsidiary of Roskosmos) with the European Provider of Arianespace Start Services (Operator of the OneWeb Space Actors using the Soyuz-2 support missile) and Starsem. Earlier in the installation and test area of the site 31, the “Package” (1st and 2nd and 2nd stages) of the Soyuz-2.1B carrier missiles were completed and its overload to the workplace for the further general assembly of the space for space.
The upcoming launch will be the ninth on the OneWeb program and the third, made from the Baikonur cosmodrome.
