Holding “Russian Space Systems” (RCS, is included in the state corporation “Roskosmos”) organized an industrial excursion for 27 students in the senior classes of Moscow schools, during which they visited the corporate technical and historical museum, met with the 75-year history of the RCC and the main Stages of development of cosmic instrument making. Schoolchildren were able to make sure the high demands of scientists and qualified specialists in a modern high-tech company, as well as open the possibilities of research career.
Excursants showed the production of microelectronic components and devices in the center of microelectronics of the RCC, where, based on its own production and technological platform, the holding develops and produces a wide range of typical unified products with characteristics for space and various non-sectoral industries.
The practical implementation of space technologies to ensure the safety of mobile and dangerous facilities, adolescents were able to observe the scientific and technological center for system monitoring and operational management, which in real time ensures consumer data in state and commercial structures. Innovative technologies and modern production seen by high school students in the RCC made a big impression. Many of them expressed sincere interest in the holding after receiving profile higher or special education.
The excursion to the RCC has become part of the All-Russian project “Science. The territory of heroes”, implemented by ANO “National Projects” together with the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, and the programs of educational and vocational guidance activities of Roskosmos State Corporation. The main goal of the project is the professional self-determination of children and young people, the motivation for which is largely a personal acquaintance of schoolchildren with the work of leading industrial enterprises.
