The daughter of a high-ranking Pakistani diplomat, who worked in South Korea and Kazakhstan, was found in Islamabad with a cut off head, reports Reuters.
In the murder of 27-year-old Nur Mukadam suspected her former Beloved Zahir Jafar – a US citizen with Pakistani roots.
According to the police, Jafar, together with buddies lured a woman to his home, where she tied it for two days, and then killed. He described what happened as revenge for treason.
Murder Mukadam was the cause of mass rallies against domestic violence in a number of Pakistan cities, as well as among the Pakistani diaspora in Canada and the United States.
