The Ministry of Finance does not expect the budget revenues from a possible ban on gasoline exports from Russia. This was told by Deputy Minister of Finance Alexey Sazanov, RIA Novosti reports.
He noted that if the supply of fuel abroad will fall, they will increase receipts of excise. “If gasoline is not exported, then he goes to the domestic market where excise tax is paid,” the consequences of such a solution of Sazanov.
Earlier it was reported that the Ministry of Energy was revealed for several days to analyze gasoline export prohibit. The head of the department Nikolai Schulgin pointed out that the decision was likely to accept after July 30. The term of the prohibition may be at least three months.
Deputy head of the Ministry of Energy Pavel Sorokin noted that all regulatory documents are ready for such a decision. At the same time, he stressed that the problem would be better to solve the market manner in order not to cause damage to oil companies. Prices for gasoline for several days in a row updated historical maxima, and then switched to decrease.
Because of the sharp rise of stock prices for fuel, the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) of Russia began to conduct raids against oil traders.
