The profit of the manufacturer of Bentley cars for the first six months of 2021 amounted to 178 million euros. For six months, the company earned more than any year in the entire 102-year history of the BRAND existence, Bloomberg reports. The previous annual record was installed in 2014, when the auto giant received a profit of 170 million euros.
Sales of Bentley cars this year exceeded “docking” indicators. For six months of 2021, 7199 cars were sold, and for the same period 2019 – 4785.
One of the reasons for success The head of Betnley Adrian Hallmark called massive dismissal – in June 2020, the company has reduced 25 percent. “We have accepted several difficult decisions by reducing labor costs,” Hallmark told. Increased profits, he also explained the brand force and the ability to deliver high-quality cars in large quantities.
Bloomberg Analyst Michael Dean believes that the financial performance also influenced the increased demand for Bentayga and Flying Spur. These cars have four doors that wealthy Chinese buyers like that preferring trips with a personal driver.
