“On July 29, a multi-purpose laboratory module” Science “was docked with the International Space Station. At all stages of the module flight, the system of rapprochement “Science” worked reliably and stable. In the near section of rapprochement, minor oscillations were noticed with which the docking system coped. This led to a relaxed docking and touch with rated speeds, which in turn led to mechanical connection.
Mechanics docking worked reliably, without comments and led to the closure of both docking mechanisms – station and module. Due to the short-term software failure, a direct command was mistaken to turn on the engine module engines, which resulted in Behind it, some modification of the orientation of the complex as a whole.
This situation was quickly parried using the “Star” module motor setting. At the moment, the station is in the staff orientation, all ISS systems and multipurpose laboratory module work normally. Created a reliable internal power and command interface, as well as the power interface that tied the module with the station.
Now the crew is engaged in leveling pressure in the “Science” module. This is a sufficiently long procedure, because the total volume of the module is about 70 Cubic meters. In the afternoon the crew will open hatches, will enter the module, will include the necessary atmospheric cleaning tools and start a normal staff work. The main operational management group works in normal mode and manages the entire complex, including the Science Module.
