Siluanov suggested changing Tax Code

Finance Minister Anton Siluanov proposed a fully changed the Tax Code due to the fact that the reporting principle itself has changed. He stated this at the session of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (PMEF-2021) dedicated to the future tax system of Russia. Broadcasting the discussion was carried out on the website of the event.

According to him, in recent years there has been a coup of consciousness. If earlier reporting filled the taxpayer, and the Federal Tax Service (FTS) checked it, now the tax authorists themselves fill it all, and the taxpayer checks.

This situation, stressed Siluanov, requires changing the basic legislative frameworks of regulation, including the Tax Code. He promised that in the new edition they will try to do without sanctions for the taxpayer, which will provide additional comfort. The deadlines of the upcoming changes the minister did not name.

Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Finance refuted the information that the Government considers plans to increase the income tax of individuals (NDFL). He also indicated that as a result of the changes received, it was possible to obtain not 60 billion rubles, as planned, but about 100 billion.

Also, Siluanov said that already within a month in the structure of the National Welfare Fund (FNB) for the first time there will be no American dollars. Instead, the share of euro and yuan will grow, and gold will appear in the structure, and at once in the amount of 20 percent.
