Putin made a bid for common sense

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that, choosing between state-owned companies and private business, relies on common sense. So he answered the relevant question at the plenary meeting of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (PMEF), the broadcast of which leads the TV channel “Russia 24” on Youtube.

also the head of state said that the Russian authorities see their goal of developing market relations in the economy and support for private business.

Putin spoke at the PMEF earlier on June 4th. In the course of his speech, he said that the decline in the global economy due to the pandemic turned out to be the largest after World War II. Speaking about the priorities of the internal business agenda, the President announced that due to timely measures, the Russian economy and the labor market is already approaching the pre-crisis levels.
