Sony will continue to support users of the prefix of the past generation despite the PS5 output. This became known from the interview with the head of the PlayStation Studios Hermen Hulst (Hermen Hulst), published in the PlayStation blog.

In this regard, the hulstle noted that the developing Horizon Forbidden West, God of War and Gran Turismo 7 will be available on PS4.
Talking about the future game platform, the company representative confirmed that at the moment PlayStation Studios is currently over 25 games, and half of them are new. Previously, the hulston spoke about it in an interview with Wired. “I want us to continue to master the legacy of PlayStation, push the boundaries of the games, continue to make games that matter,” the company’s head of the company told the interlocutor.
On the question of the future of single-user games, a company representative noticed that “single games with a plot – our DNA.” “For me, the idea of sitting on Friday evening with a completely new world and an excellent story for studying – it sounds quite cool, right?” – admitted a hulst. At the same time, the head of PlayStation Studios added that online games for PS can also have an excellent storyline.
Earlier, the head of Sony Interactive Entertainment Jim Ryan (Jim Ryan) stated that the company will continue to support PlayStation 4 for a few more years. Ryan noted that the console of the past generation will receive new games at least until 2023.
