Rosneft and Rosseti companies within 24 Petersburg International Economic Forum entered into an agreement on intent on cooperation in the development of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles. The document involves the placement of rapid charging stations for electric vehicles on Rosneft AZK in the regions of Russia.
Currently, charging stations on the gas station in Moscow, Tver and Leningrad regions, Vladivostok, Khabarovsk and in Krasnodar Territory, are working in the Rosneft retail chain.
The development of the charging infrastructure will allow drivers to charge the electric vehicles on the branched network of Rosneft gas stations. The round-the-clock mode of operation and the accompanying AZC service will allow motorists with comfort to spend time at the filling stations of the company while their electric vehicle is charged to drink freshly brewed coffee and snack in a cafe, purchase goods in the store and use other amenities for AZK.

The company will continue to further develop the charging infrastructure on the gas station in accordance with the forecasts of the demand and development of the electric car market.
Rosseti is one of the largest charging infrastructure operators for electric vehicles in Russia. Under the management of the company there are over 260 charging stations.
